Marine Chiller Unit

Our Marine Chiller Unit works well on ships and boats. The marine environment contains salt and high humidity, and normal cooling systems can corrode and fail quickly. Our unit is designed to resist corrosion and vibration. We offer two main models: SCW-8 and SCW-10. The SCW-8 provides 21.5 kW of cooling capacity, while the SCW-10 provides 30 kW. Both operate on 380V / 3-phase / 50Hz ship power. They keep server rooms and living spaces comfortably cool. The product prevents heat from damaging your electronics and also improves crew comfort. It delivers stable chilled water supply throughout the day. This unit is a must-have for any ship.

We use specially selected materials for marine environments. The compressor is a sealed scroll type, offering quiet operation and energy savings. The SCW-8 compressor has a power input of 7.3 kW, while the SCW-10 compressor uses 9.7 kW. The condenser can be either shell-and-tube or coil type. The evaporator can be a tank type, shell-and-tube type, or stainless steel plate type. All metal components are treated with a double anti-rust coating. Flexible mounts are used for the piping system to withstand ship vibration.

The water pump power is 6.2 kW for the SCW-8 and 8.6 kW for the SCW-10. The chilled water flow rate is 0.55 m³/h for the SCW-8 and 1.1 m³/h for the SCW-10. This Marine Chiller Unit is more durable than standard cooling systems, helping reduce maintenance costs and extend service life.

The unit uses R407C refrigerant and is equipped with capillary tubes or expansion valves for precise flow control. It operates with high efficiency and low noise levels: 58 dB for the SCW-8 and 62 dB for the SCW-10. The weight is 58 kg and 62 kg respectively. Both models share the same dimensions: 1200 × 700 × 1200 mm, making them suitable for compact ship machinery rooms.

The unit is equipped with multiple safety protections, including high-pressure, low-pressure, overload, anti-freeze, time delay, over-temperature, and water flow protection systems. These ensure reliable operation of the Marine Chiller Unit under all working conditions, minimizing the risk of failure. It is a reliable and intelligent solution for marine cooling applications.
